What are Skill games and the LUOP Games concept?

Games of skill, such as those we provide on BeGosu, are games where the result and outcome are decided purely by the skill of the players and teams involved and not by elements of chance or luck. The LUOP Games concept is based on a payment regulation in various scenarios,  Or like in our Challenge System where your team challenges another team for a match e.g. with a stake of € 50 or € 100 minus rake(the house varies from game to game). Unlike games of chance, skilled gaming is legal in most parts of the world and is determined by the skill of the participants.

Who can play at BeGosu?

There is no ping restrictions or limitations; all online games played through your Xbox 360™ or/and Playstation 3™ are played on a cloud network where the ping(latency) is balanced to sustain a stable game flow with no lag interruption. Same applies to StarCraft 2 and our Arcade browser based games.

The service will not be available to those States in the U.S that do not allow the use of services such as ours A list of these blocked States can be found in our Terms of Service. Please note that only individuals over the age of 18 can play at BeGosu.

What do I need to do to play?

In order to play you must first register an account here at BeGosu. This is a simple sign up process that will only take a few minutes. You will of course need the game itself. If you experience any difficulties during the playing process, please contact our friendly support on our LIVE chat or email us at support@luopgames.com and we will be happy to help resolve your problem and complete the process with you.

Do I need to go to the BeGosu website every time I play?

No, you don't need to have the website running in the background while you play PC or Console games.

Can I have more than one account?

It is only possible to have one active account at BeGosu. If we find that a customer has more than one account we reserve the right to suspend all their accounts until the matter is rectified.

What if my internet connection disconnects in the middle of game/match?

Since BeGosu is not responsible for hosting the game servers, we cannot be hold responsible for any such lost connections to any servers hosted by third parties, such as EA or Blizzard. If a player loses his connection, the player will in most cases get a default loss for that game - which will be reported to BeGosu the player will therefore be counted for as the loser of the match. For questions please use our LIVE Chat options if they are online and an operator will help you out.

Do you share my personal information with a 3rd party?

All your personal information is stored by LUOP Entertainment Limited. We treat all information you give us confidentially. Other than absolutely necessary to run your account and provide a service to you, we do not divulge this information to any third party. If service delivery fails BeGosu will always examine the problem to try to find the reason. In cases where any problems lie within our area of control we will refund any funds lost as a result of such problems. In order to maximize your own enjoyment of our services we would advise that you run as few other programs as possible whilst using BeGosu.

Inactive Account Maintenance Fee and Inactive Account Closure

€1.00 EUR* Note: All fees and charges are subject to change from time to time.

What is the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee?
As set out in Clause 5.1 (Inactive Account Maintenance Fee in the Terms and Conditions of use, the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee is a monthly administrative charge that is deducted from your account balance if your account is inactive for more than 90 days.
When would I have to pay the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee?
The Inactive Account Maintenance Fee will be deducted from your account balance on the day following the (end of the) 90-day grace period (i.e., day 91) and then every thirty (30) days thereafter if your account remains inactive. For example: If the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee is €1.00 EUR, and your account is inactive for 90 days, then you will have to pay a €1.00 EUR charge at the end of the 90-day grace period (day 91) and then every thirty (30) days thereafter if your account remains inactive.
How will the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee be paid?
An amount up to the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee will automatically be deducted from your account balance by us on the day following the end of the 90-day grace period (day 91) and then every thirty (30) days thereafter (provided your account remains inactive).
What if there is no money in my account?
If your account balance is zero and there is no money in your account then no deduction will be made. Additionally, we will not deduct the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee from your account balance if your account balance is less than the Inactive Account Fee amount. However, we have the right to deduct "up to" the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee amount. This means, for example, that if you have an account balance of €0.50 EUR and the Inactive Account Fee is €1.00 EUR, then we can deduct the €0.50 EUR from your account balance (if your account remains inactive).
What if I start using my account again?
If you start using your account by 'logging on' to your account using your account name and password before the coherent period of 90 and or 180 days is reached and actively use our service, that will cancel the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee and or closure of your account based on the 180 days clause (see 13.6 below). With actively is meant; actions or game buy-ins or active participation in Tournaments and events, then your account will be deemed 'active' and we will stop deducting the Inactive Account Maintenance Fee from your account balance from that date.
What is the Inactive Account Closure?
As set out in Clause 5.1.2 (Inactive Account Closure) in the Terms and Conditions of use, your account will after a coherent period of 180 days be seen as abandoned and thus closed and cleared, which means that it will no longer be accessible and all data, information and funds associated with your gaming account will be permanently lost, without any option of them or the account to be re-established in any way.
